Carving Away the Clay by fLako

Who’s up for a Project: Mooncircle fix?  Before you start tweaking too hard, fLako is back with his latest EP, Carving Away the Clay.  Opening with the staccato beat-laced “Broken Toys,” the album quickly slips into mellow jams of an almost R&B nature (“The Answer,” “Lonely Town”).  The Chilean-born, alternately Berlin and London-based beathead had this to say about the EP : “Carving Away The Clay impresses upon the idea of an ongoing process in which raw material is stripped off of anything superfluous or impeding until the essential parts of ourselves are exposed. It is a never ending process of striving for perfection in all areas of life.”  Sure, i’d buy that for a dollar.
