Wuhn by DJAO

Need some more spacey, atmospheric IDM to listen to while working on your doctoral thesis regarding the likelihood of life being discovered a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away?  Just stoned, bored and looking for good background music?  The folks over at the Dropping Gems label feel your ennui.

As such, take a listen to DJAO, aka Alex Osuch, on his Wuhn.  On it, he “attempts to describe, from beginning to end, a journey through a kaleidoscopic array of natural environments, each with their own tone, tempo, topography and synesthetic color scheme.”  While i would not classify these as blunted beats, i’m not nearly as comfortable wagering what drugs were used and/or harmed in the making of this album.
